Donald Trump and Theresa May are meeting for talks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The US President told the world’s media that he and the Prime Minister “liked each other a lot” and dismissed rumours of tensions between them at a press conference on Thursday.
Mrs May arrived at the Swiss Alpine resort on Wednesday to rub shoulders with attendees including French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian leader Narendra Modi.
The US President will give a speech on Friday to the forum of business and political leaders and met with the PM on Thursday afternoon.
Mrs May gave a special address to an audience at the event on Thursday where she called out tech companies for facilitating child abuse, modern slavery and the spreading of terrorist and extremist content.
Today’s developments came as Downing Street said it is “finalising the details” of Mr Trump’s visit to the UK later this year.
