Anambra 2018: Group Gives PDP Five-Day Ultimatum To Replace Obaze

Following the continued eligibility issue surrounding Mr. Oseloka Obaze's emergence as the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the November 17 governorship election in Anambra State,

a group under the aegis of Anambra Grassroots Movement, has issued a five-Day ultimatum to the leadership of PDP to replace Mr. Oseloka Obaze or have them work for a candidate of their choice, arguing that he (Obaze) is not a registered member of the party.

They urged the party hierarchy to choose one out of the four members of the party who contested for the party's ticket at the primary; namely: Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah; Dr. Alex Obiogbolu; Chief John Emeka or Sen. Stella Adaeze Oduah as Obaze's replacement, saying that they preferred any of the four above mentioned names as their party's flagbearer. The group gave the ultimatum through a voice vote in a rally held today at the Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.
