Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has approved the removal of the heads of govt institutions across the state with immediate effect.
The institutions are Ekiti state university, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ekiti State College of Education, College of Health Sciences, and Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State.
In a statement by the Chief Press secretary to the Governor Mr Yinka Oyebode said the removal was based on the consideration and adoption of the White papers on the reports of the visitation panels set up to Look into the finances of the institutions
The statement directed the most senior officer in each of the institution to take over the running pending the appointment of substantive heads.
Government has also approved the immediate constitution of governing councils for the affected institutions
