The Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami indicates this in Argungu while on sympathy visit to Argungu Emirate.
The Minister said the visit is to sympathise and commisserate with the people of Argungu over the flood disaster that ravaged the Area.
He said President Muhammadu Buhari will do everything humanly possible to provide immidiate palliative to the victims of the flood, saying that Hydro Electric Power Producing Area Development Commission,( HYPADEC) will receive utmost attention from the presidency as part of the efforts to address issues affecting riverrine areas including incessant flooding in the affected areas.
The Minister also expressed the federal government resolve to address issues relating to security in the state and other parts of the country.
During the visit, Khadimiyya for Justice and Development Initiative in collaboration with Kadi Malami Foundation presented a cash donation of 2.5 million naira to the victims.
The Emir of Argungu Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera thanked the minister for the visit and assured him continued support to the government policies and programmes aimed at making life better for Nigerians.
He reiterated the need for more efforts by relevant authorities in enhancing security of lives and property.
The Minister also condoled the Emir over the loss of his two brothers who passed away recently.
