Onyeaguocha, represented Owerri federal Constituency of Imo state between 2003 and 2007 and was the APC senatorial candidate for Owerri zone in 2015.
The chairman of APGA in the Owerri west Local Government Area of the state, Emeka Nkwoada, confirmed the defection of the ex lawmaker on sunday.
Nwkoada, said that, Onyeaguocha, described his latest political move as a home coming judging from the fact that he was elected into the House of Representatives in 2003 on the APGA platform.
The APGA chieftain disclosed that the decampee stated his resolve to make sure that the governor, Rochas Okorocha, goes to prison after his tenure in 2019.
It would be recalled that Onyeaguocha and Okorocha fell apart after the 2015 elections and since then the former had not failed to openly criticise the policies of the later.
Onyeaguocha, recently advised, Okorocha, to start sowing his prison cloths, adding that the governor would be imprisoned when he leaves office in less than two years time.
But, Okorocha, in his response described, Onyeaguocha as his political son who would return to his father in due cause.
