Gov. Obiano To Complete Mmiata Anam - Nzam Road In Six Months

The Anambra State Government is to deliver a completed Mmiata Anam-Nzam road within the next six months.

Governor Willie Obiano disclosed this at Community Secondary School, Umueze Anam when he inaugurated his re-election campaign in Anambra West Local government Area.

Traditional rulers, community leaders, APGA stakeholders and faithful from the 10 wards in the Council Area turned out en-mass to receive the Governor and his campaign train.
Governor Obiano who also promised that his government will construct a modern bridge on the Innoma - Igbedon road leading to Olumbanasaa communities, explained that the road projects are to help the evacuation of farm produce from the agrarian communities.

He further said government will commence palliative work on the Federal road leading through Anambra West Council to Kogi while the electrification project which his government had drawn to Mmiata will be continued to Innoma and Nzam.

The Governor assured the people that his government will not fail on the promises it made to them, urging them to support his second term bid.
In their separate remarks, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye and the Chairman of the Governor's Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh, urged Ndi Anambra to consider the poor condition of people of neighbouring states due to bad leadership, noting that of all the parties contesting, APGA remains the best.

Earlier in a welcome speech, the Transition committee chairman of the Council Area, Mr. Collins Nwabunwanne, revealed that they want to use the rally to express their unalloyed support for the Governor in view of his humane disposition towards them.
