The Presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku has assured residents of Zamfara State that he will refurbish Bakolori dam.
PDP Presidential candidate also promise to end killings and ensure that the state is peaceful so that farming and business activities will be revived.
The former Vice President gave the assurances in Gusau, the Zamfara State Capital during his Presidential campaign rally.
The Waziri Adamawa who spoke to a crowd of supporters in Hausa said that if the state votes for the PDP, he will ensure that the killings and cattle rustling in Zamfara comes to an end.
Alhaji Atiku who stressed that insecurity hampers business and other activities, also promised to engender unity in the country and make displaced farmers return to their farms.
In his remarks, the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Prince Uche Secondus told the gathering that Alhaji Atiku has a proven track record of ensuring businesses thrive and would do so if elected.
He assured them that Alhaji Atiku would reunite Nigeria, ensure job availability and restore peace and security in troubled areas.
Present at the rally were former governors of Sokoto and Kano State, Attahiru Bafarawa and Senator Ibrahim Kwankwaso, former PDP Presidential candidate Tanimu Turaki, former governor of Niger State Babangida Aliyu and other party Chieftains from the Northwest.
