The Newly Appointed Minister of Interior, Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola says he will work with the service chiefs towards curtailing internal security.
Alhaji Aregbesola stated this while taking over at the ministry today after being sworn-in by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Villa, Abuja.
He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the appointment and promised not to let him down.
The permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs Georgina Ehuriah welcomed the minister and expressed the hope that with his wealth of experience in governance, the country would be properly secured.
Present at the reception were the Comptroller General of Immigration, Mohammed Babandede, Comptroller General of Nigeria Correctional service, Jafaru Ahmed, Comptroller General, Federal Fire Service Ibrahim Liman and Commandant General NSCDC Abdulahi Gana Muhammadu.
